HGTR-KTP crystal( hydrothermal GTR-KTP) has gray track resistance significantly higher than the regular flux-grown KTP. By improving the stoechiometry within the crystal lattice, HGTR-KTP can avoid the problems of harmonic power instability, efficiency drop, crystal blackening and beam distortion. HGTR KTP crystal is suitable for high power density applications:
- High repetition rate, high average power lasers for material processing or surgery
- High power CW lasers
HGTR-KTP crystal has a lower initial IR absorption and is affected less by the green laser.
