Wollaston polarizer offers the widest deviation angle of beam-displacing polarizers. This polarizer is made of two birefringent prisms cemented together. Both output beams are deviated symmetrically from the input beam axis. Since the output deviations are chromatic, Wollaston polarizers have been used in spectrometers as well as in polarization analyzers.
